(Port) Wine of the month June 2024: Vallegre 50y old Tawny Port

Tasted right next to the Colheita 1974 from Graham. Dark orange colour with a deep colour core. Intense caramel and nutty notes on the nose. Warm woody notes, coffee, orange and just the right dose of Douro Bake. Sweeter on the palate than the Graham, tobacco, orange and caramel, a hint of nut mix. Perfectly supporting acidity and an extremely long and balanced finish. 19/20
